PunchOut Integration with TTI

Designed for companies with ERP systems that support cXML PunchOut.
Connect your ERP system directly to TTI's live catalog. Shop with real pricing and availability without leaving your procurement workflow.

What is PunchOut?

PunchOut is a technology that connects TTI inventory to your company's procurement systems for purchasing. It enables you to streamline the shopping process by automating authentication and cart order transfer between our systems and yours.

Once implemented, buyers simply click the TTI PunchOut icon inside their procurement system and a cXML PunchoutSetupRequest sent to TTI to authenticate the buyer so they can begin searching for parts. When they have completed their shopping, the cart is then returned to your procurement system where the buyer is able to complete checkout inside your company procurement system, utilizing your company approval workflows.

The final purchase order is transmitted to TTI either via cXML or email, depending on your organization's setup.

  • Works with Coupa, Jagger, and Vroozi
  • Live catalog, pricing, and availability from TTI
  • Internal purchase approvals remain intact
  • No duplicate data entry or manual order entry

Why Use PunchOut?

Built for enterprise procurement teams

Time savings

Eliminates manual entry and rework. Buyers shop directly on TTI.com and cart data flows back automatically. There's no copy-pasting part numbers, prices, or descriptions.

Budget control

Improves spend visibility within your ERP. All purchases route through your existing procurement system, giving finance and management full oversight of buying activity.

Faster approvals

Orders move through existing procurement workflows automatically. No side-channel purchasing, so every cart flows into the standard approval chain your team already uses.

Reduced errors

Prevents duplication and manual mistakes. Pricing, part numbers, and availability come directly from TTI's live catalog, not from a stale spreadsheet or manual lookup.

Prerequisites to get started

PunchOut integration is straightforward to set up, so you can begin ordering without delay. Here's what happens from your first conversation with TTI to your first PunchOut order.

01

Confirm your ERP supports cXML PunchOut

PunchOut works with any ERP or procurement system that supports the cXML PunchOut standard. Contact your ERP vendor or internal IT team to confirm cXML PunchOut is supported before reaching out to TTI.

02

Connect with TTI Sales

Reach out to your assigned TTI sales contact, or contact us directly to kick off the integration. TTI will confirm your account details, verify your company's TTI web profile, and align on your preferred order transmission method (cXML or email).

03

Configure in your procurement system

TTI provides the PunchOut URL and credentials. Your team handles the configuration within your own procurement system. TTI is available to assist throughout the process and will validate the connection with a test session before you go live.

FAQ

Quick answers to common questions

Once your company initiates a request for PunchOut services and a web profile is established, setup can typically be completed after a few questions are answered and testing is successful. The entire process can take as little as one day.

TTI PunchOut is compatible with Coupa, Jagger, and Vroozi. TTI provides the PunchOut URL and credentials, and configuration is completed in your organization's system.

TTI maintains all catalog content, pricing, and availability data. Because PunchOut connects directly to TTI.com, your buyers always see live, up-to-date information. There are no static catalogs to refresh or manage on your side.

TTI can configure certain aspects of the PunchOut experience based on your account setup and procurement requirements. For specific customization needs, your TTI sales contact can discuss what options are available for your integration.

Your assigned TTI sales contact is your primary point of support for questions related to PunchOut. For technical issues with the cXML connection or order processing, TTI's integration support team can be engaged through your sales contact.

Clicking Checkout on TTI.com during a PunchOut session does not place an order. Instead, your cart is returned to your procurement system as a cXML PunchOutOrderMessage. From there, you complete the order through your normal internal approval workflow.
