Vishay General Semiconductor SMA6F eSMP Series TRANSZORB Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) feature a slender profile with a typical height of 0.95 mm, suited for automated placement and its unidirectional design with impressive clamping capability make it a reliable choice for various applications. These diodes are housed in the SlimSMA (DO-221AC) case and the molding compound holds a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The SMA6F TVS diodes can operate within the temperature range from -55°C to +175°C with a stand-off voltage range from 6.4V to 159V. These diodes are used in sensitive electronics protection against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting on ICs, MOSFET, signal lines of sensor units for consumer, computer, industrial, and telecommunication.
