TT Electronics OPB8xx Slotted Optical Switches

TT Electronics OPB8xx Series Slotted Optical Switches are designed for non-contact object sensing in automation, safety, and security equipment. These devices feature molded housings and optional IR-transmissive shells that help minimize sensitivity to visible and near-infrared ambient light, supporting reliable switching performance. The OPB8xx series switches have a collector DC current of 30mA and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. They provide a maximum reverse current of 100µA and a forward DC current of 50mA. Typical applications include assembly line automation, machine automation, equipment security, and machine safety.
