TT Electronics OP123/4 and OP223/4 Infrared Emitters
Optek / TT Electronics Hermetic Infrared Emitting Diodes are offered in OP123, OP124, OP223, and OP224 series, designed for industrial uses. These diodes utilize Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) and Gallium Aluminum Arsenide (GaAlAs) technologies, emitting light at 935nm or 890nm with focused beam patterns. The hermetically sealed “pill” packages ensure durability and reliability in harsh conditions. Designed for direct PCB mounting, the diodes are compatible with TT Electronics' OP300, OP600, and OP640 series. Common applications include machine automation, door sensors, and reflective object detection, which achieve effective performance with matching sensors.
