TT Electronics OPB350 Series Fluid Sensors detect the presence of liquids in clear tubes with outside diameters ranging from 1/16” to 1/4”. The OPB350 sensors feature an opaque plastic housing for ambient light rejection and offer options for PCB mounting or 24” wire leads. These sensors operate by recognizing different states such as "fluid present," "no fluid present," and "no tube present" based on current variations. OPB350 sensors operate within a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and support a forward DC current of 50mA. Typical applications include colored fluids, iv fluid, non-contact fluid sensing, and oils and other petroleum products.
