Toshiba TLP182, TLP183, TLP292, and TLP293 Series Photocouplers are low-input current-type transistor output photocouplers. These devices offer a high current transfer ratio at low input current. The TLP182 and TLP183 series are available in SO6 packages while the TLP292 and TLP293 are in small SO4 packages. These components come with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with an insulation voltage of 2750 Vrms. The TLP series not only has a high current transfer ratio at the conventional input current of 5mA but also the same current transfer ratio at the low LED current of 0.5mA. Especially when utilizing LED current at 100VAC and other high voltages, these products significantly contribute to a reduction in power consumption by reducing the LED current of the photocoupler. The devices allow for reliable use in industrial devices, compact power supplies, and other devices used in environments of severe heat.
