TE Connectivity Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) M8 Hybrid IP67 Board Receptacle and Cordset supports a single open, scalable ethernet-based network within the automation system. The SPE M8 board receptacle and cordset standardize the transmission over only one pair of copper wires and provide power transmission over a separate wire pair. These board receptacles and cordsets offer possible data transmission up to 1Gb/s, and speed transmission distances up to 1000m at 10Mb/s. Typical applications include sensor/actuator networks, robotics, machinery, and industrial automation.

The SPE M8 hybrid IP67 board receptacle and cordset is the perfect solution to reduce and simplify wiring. The SPE M8 hybrid IP67 board receptacle and cordset provides engineers with a single-pair ethernet cable solution that can be used to deliver both data and power. With a maximum data rate of 1Gb/s at 40m, the M8 hybrid solution is able to provide up to 4A of current over a signal pair, and 8A of current over a power pair. Additionally, the M8 hybrid solution conforms to IEC 63171-6 standards and is both RoHS and REACH compliant. As such, these cable connectors are ideal for use in robotics, automation, and surveillance.
