TE Connectivity RT and RZ Relays
TE Connectivity RT Series Relays are robust single-pole, single-throw normally open (1 Form A) devices with a 16A switching capability. These relays are available in both mono- and bistable coil configurations and offer reinforced insulation with a high 5kV/10mm coil-to-contact dielectric strength. The RT series relays are designed in accordance with IEC60335-1 standards and are typically used in LED lighting systems and filament and incandescent lamp load applications.
TE Connectivity RZ Series Relays are single-pole devices offering either a 1 form C (CO) or 1 form A (NO) contact configuration with a switching capacity of 12A or 16A. These relays feature a 400mW DC coil and provide reinforced insulation with a high dielectric strength of 5kV/10mm between the coil and contacts. The RZ series relays are designed for reliable operation in demanding environments and can withstand ambient temperatures up to +85°C. Typical applications include domestic appliances and heating control.

The 240VAC single-pole relays are available with 12A and 16A switching capacities and a TV-8 rating, with options capable of handling inrush currents up to 240A. The housing offers 10mm of creepage and clearance and a 5kV dielectric strength, helping to ensure long-lasting, dependable performance. It’s also offered with an enclosure suitable for use in explosive atmospheres. The RZ Series is available with 1 form A or 1 form C contacts coil voltage options from 3V to 48V, with the coil rated for 400mW.
