TE Connectivity Sleep Monitor Strip is made of piezoelectric PVDF polymer, measuring 800mm long, 8mm wide, and 50 microns thick. This Sleep Monitor Strip has an active electrode area of 698.5mm by 3mm and uses crimped solder tabs for electrical connections. The strip generates a charge or voltage output when subjected to dynamic strain, allowing it to detect heart sounds and breathing when placed across a mattress. It operates without external power, making it suitable for battery-operated equipment with low power consumption.
