AMP TE Connectivity MCP Contact Systems uses a two-piece design with a flat receptacle and a flat tab. These contacts separate the electrical and mechanical functions between a copper alloy body and a steel spring. The MCP Contact Systems employs multiple contact points to maintain a stable connection under high vibrational loads. These devices include good cavity guiding, protection against mechanical damage, and secondary locking from four directions.
