AMP TE Connectivity MCP Contact Systems

AMP TE Connectivity MCP Contact Systems uses a two-piece design with a flat receptacle and a flat tab. These contacts separate the electrical and mechanical functions between a copper alloy body and a steel spring. The MCP Contact Systems employs multiple contact points to maintain a stable connection under high vibrational loads. These devices include good cavity guiding, protection against mechanical damage, and secondary locking from four directions. Applications include automotive chassis, powertrain, safety, and body electronics systems.
