TE Connectivity SOLISTRAND terminals and splices are designed to terminate a variety of wires, including solid, stranded, and irregularly shaped conductors. Each termination is matched to a specific tool, ensuring uniform and consistent quality control. These terminals and splices feature a brazed seam for even metal strength across the barrel, preventing pinched wires. The "W" crimp design in terminals enhances electrical performance and tensile strength, while dimples or serrations inside the wire barrel optimize tensile strength and electrical contact after crimping. These splices come with bell mouth on the barrel entrance facilitating easy wire insertion. The SOLISTRAND products meet AS7928 standards and are rated for a maximum temperature of 170 degrees Celsius, suitable for both commercial and military applications.
