TE Connectivity FASTON Tabs are used for wire crimp and board mount applications. The wire crimp tabs are designed for line splices and other uses, suitable for 22AWG to 14AWG wire with "F" crimp termination and insulation support, and available with AMPLIVAR serrations for magnet wire applications. Board mount tabs come in various configurations, including single 90°, straight-angled, dual versions (90°, 45°, and straight), weld tab versions, and other special designs, and are mounted using rivets or screws through stud holes. Printed circuit board tabs are inserted into PCB holes and permanently attached during soldering and can be hand or machine inserted using AMP application equipment.
