TE Connectivity / AMP Econoseal III Series Connectors are designed to meet the exacting requirements of the automotive industry for a reliable sealed connector. Two series of connectors have been developed by AMP, wire-to-wire, and wire-to-PCB. Each series offers a choice of housing positions, polarized mating, discrete cable sealing and contact secondary locking, and hand or machine tooling for simple termination. Wire-to-wire connectors accept a cable range from 20AWG to 12AWG with a current rating of up to 20A. The Econoseal III connectors are to be used with thin-walled non-irradiated PVC cables.
