TDK SMD NTC Thermistors
TDK Surface Mount SMD/SMT NTC Thermistors are temperature-sensitive semiconductor resistors that decrease in resistance as temperature rises. The NTC thermistor’s negative temperature coefficient is much greater than that of metals and silicon sensors, resulting in heightened sensitivity to temperature changes. These thermistors operate in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +150°C, suitable for automotive applications. NTC thermistors come in compact case sizes ranging from EIA0805 to EIA01005, with resistance values from 22Ω to 1000kΩ, and provide outstanding stability in high-temperature, high-humidity conditions. These thermistors feature a nickel barrier termination and lead-free solderability and ensure reliable performance in demanding conditions.
