TDK µPOL Embedded DC-DC Converters
TDK µPOL Embedded DC-DC Converters are simple to operate, fully integrated, and effective micro-point-of-load (µPOL) voltage regulators. The µPOL power modules are perfect for powering advanced digital logic devices such as CPUs, MCUs, ASICs, FPGAs, and DSPs. These converters operate from 3A to 12A rated µPOL buck regulators with integrated inductors and digital power system management. The on-chip Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) controller and integrated MOSFETs, plus incorporated inductors and capacitors, results in an extremely compact and accurate regulator.
The built-in protection features of µPOL Embedded DC-DC Converters are a pre-biased start-up, soft-start protection, over-voltage protection, thermally compensated over-current protection with hiccup mode, and thermal shut-down with auto-recovery. TDK µPOL Embedded DC-DC Converters Sample Kit is designed to assist engineers in selecting appropriate components for the specified applications. This kit includes a variety of components that are conveniently packaged and labelled for easy access.
The TDK µPOL Evaluation Boards are designed to evaluate µPOL Power Modules. These evaluation boards are made up of four layers of FR4 glass-reinforced epoxy laminate PCB and the principal power components, including the μPOL, are mounted on the top side of the TDK μPOL evaluation board.
