Positronic ECBU Cable Connectors

Positronic ECBU Cable Connectors feature insulators made of low-smoke, halogen-free, glass-filled LCP material with a UL 94V-0 rating. The ECBU cable connectors utilize copper alloy contacts with gold flash over nickel plating or 30µin gold over nickel. These connectors operate within a temperature range from -50°C to +160°C and support a contact current rating of up to 100A. ECBU connectors come with backshells that are precision-milled from aluminum and include a conversion coating for enhanced durability and protection. Typical applications include avionics systems, communication equipment, navigation systems, and power distribution.

• All male variants feature interfacial seals made from fluoro silicone sponge, MIL-R-6130 type II
• Backshells are precision-milled from aluminum and coated with yellow chromate conversion
• Backshell hardware is constructed from stainless steel or steel with a thread locking patch and finished with nickel plating or passivation
