Phoenix Contact XTV Terminal Blocks
Phoenix Contact XTV Terminal Blocks use Push-X technology instead of traditional Push-in designs. These terminal blocks support direct, tool-free wiring for all conductor types and use a pre-tensioned contact spring to connect rigid or flexible conductors, with or without ferrules. A QR code on the label provides access to product information and support. The XTV terminal blocks can be activated even with very small flexible conductors; tapping the release surface inside the clamping chamber initiates the connection. These blocks feature a current rating range from 41A to 76A and applications include machine building, plant engineering, and railway.

At every industrial plant there’s an existing enclosure where hidden inside is a terrifying rat’s nest of tangled wires, which nobody knows where they go. It’s time to eliminate the untraceable splices that plague these existing enclosures. Phoenix Contact XTV Terminal Blocks are the first to use integrated Push-X technology. Phoenix Contact has also made PUSH-X connection technology available in PCB-style terminal blocks for meeting multiple terminal-type needs. With the XTV terminal block’s pre-tensioned contact spring, fast connection without the use of tools or force is achievable for all types of solid and stranded conductors with or without ferrules.
A force-guided pusher element and a lateral conductor connection allow a clear visual of terminations, wires, and markings. The XTV series provides Feed-through and multi-conductor terminal blocks in cross-sections of 6mm2, 10mm2, and 16mm2 for conductor sizes ranging from 14AWG to 4AWG. Multiple color options are available, including standard gray for conforming to ANSI 61 gray enclosures in power distribution, water treatment, renewable industries, building and facility automation, data centers, and more.
