Phoenix Contact M8 QUICKON connectors are especially designed for use with small cable diameters and wire sizes. These connectors are plastic and rugged enough to provide a reliable, gas-tight connection even in dirty or wet environments. The cable gland will accommodate outer diameters ranging from 2.5mm to 5mm and wire sizes 20AWG to 28AWG. The M8 connector is available as plug and socket in 3 or 4 pole versions and the color coded terminals correspond to typical sensor wiring which assists in fast assembly. These QUICKON offers an easy termination method without the need for soldering, crimping or any special tools. These connectors find applications in a wide range of industries including telecommunications, industrial automation, transportation, and power distribution systems.
