OHMITE Powr-Rib PFE and PFR Resistors
Ohmite Powr-Rib PFE and PFR Resistors are rugged resistors that come in edgewound and round-wire designs. PFE and PFR series resistors are made of a heavy resistance alloy that is mounted on ceramic insulators and supported by a metal mounting bracket. Edgewound resistors offer clamp-type terminals that enable a secure connection to be adjusted along the resistive element to get intermediate values. The edgewound resistors are utilized for extremely low resistance and high-power capability, whereas round-wire resistors are used for higher resistance with lesser capability. These powr-rib resistors are built to handle the power of 700W to 1000W.
