OHMITE RW5 and RW7 Series Wirewound Resistors are exceptionally stable, with a load life drift of only 1%. A unique flat has been incorporated into the part for pick and place operations. The RW5 and RW7 resistors have fins that are exactly like those on a heatsink. Similar to a heatsink, these fins expand the component's surface area and enable more power dissipation. Due to its distinct architecture, the SMD device can have a high-power dissipation while maintaining a tiny footprint. These RW5 and RW7 resistors feature an operating temperature range from -55°C to +155°C.
