Murata PicoBK MYRGP-W/B-Rx Series Regulators

Murata PicoBK MYRGP-W/B-Rx Series Regulators are compact synchronous step-down mini DC/DC converters, integrating an inductor and a control IC into a single package measuring 2.5mm × 2.0mm with a height of 1.0mm. These converters deliver a stable power supply with an output current of 600mA using only two externally connected capacitors. The MYRGP-W series employs PWM control, while the MYRGP-B series utilizes automatic PWM/PFM switching control. The MYRGP-x-RF and MYRGP-x-RC series provide short-time turn-on via a soft start function and integrate a CL auto discharge function for swift discharge of electric charge stored at the output capacitor, ensuring a rapid return of the output voltage to the VSS level when entering standby mode. Typical applications include mobile phones, smartphones, Bluetooth headsets, digital cameras, camcorders, and portable gaming consoles.

• Adjustable output voltage by an external resistor divider for MYRGP-W series or internally set in range increments of 0.05V for MYRGP-B series
• Built-in Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO) function to force the internal driver transistor OFF when input voltage drops to 1.4V or lower
• Configuration of a stable power supply with an output current of 600mA using only two externally connected capacitors
• Inclusion of a 0.42Ω P-channel driver transistor and a 0.52Ω N-channel switching transistor
• Integration of an inductor and a control IC in a compact package
