Murata 1SJ Integrated LoRaWAN Modems
Murata 1SJ Integrated LoRaWAN Modems are the smallest LoRa modules and are based on second-generation Semtech SX1262 radio frequency IC (RFIC) and feature an open STM32L0 microcontroller (MCU) from STMicroelectronics along with an RF switch and 192kB of flash memory and 20kB of RAM. The modem’s extensive memory ensures that sufficient resources are available for the application layers. The modem also houses a temperature-controlled crystal oscillator (TXCO) and multiple communication interfaces including UART / I2C / SPI / ADC / USB and various GPIOs. These models operate from a single supply rail of up to 3.9VDC and incorporate low power modes that allow the real time clock (RTC) to operate while drawing a typical current of just 1.3µA. The LoRaWAN modems have a resin mold package that provides physical ruggedness and allows the module to operate across a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. These modems find applications in a number of industries like IoT, smart cities, and asset tracking.
