Murata Power Solutions UWS-Q12 Isolated DC-DC Converters use a DOSA-compatible sixteenth-brick format and support output trimming, remote on/off control, remote sensing, and pre-bias startup protection. The UWS-Q12 converters operate from a wide 9Vdc to 36Vdc input range and are available with regulated single outputs of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, or 24V. These devices achieve up to 91% efficiency, operate over -40°C to +85°C temperature range with derating, and require no minimum load for stable operation. Protection functions include undervoltage shutdown, overtemperature shutdown, output overvoltage protection, current limiting with hiccup auto-restart, and continuous short-circuit protection. Typical applications include data centers, network repeaters, and server farms.
