Molex Road Noise Cancellation Sensors

Molex Road Noise Cancellation (RNC) Sensors come with A2B technology, which converts vehicle chassis vibration into a signal that generates a cancellation soundwave. This reduces the road noise within the cabin, increasing comfort and improving the driver/passenger experience. The network architecture of these RNC sensors enable faster signal transmission and processing and operates at a temperature range from -40°C to +115°C. Typical applications include advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous vehicles.

Features

  • 4 to 8 sensors are located on the chassis frame
  • Collaboration with an analog device on accelerometer and A2B technology
  • Daisy-chained sensors, eliminating the need for heavier materials
  • IP6K9K NEMA rating
  • Low system latency
  • Mated with 1x4 Mini50 Connectors
  • Various mechanical housing configurations are available

Applications

  • Automotive:
    • Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
    • Autonomous vehicles
    • In-cabin noise reduction
