Molex Impel Backplane Connectors are compact connectors designed for data rates from 25Gbps to 40Gbps, supporting both backplane and daughtercard configurations. These connectors are offered in 1.90mm broad edge coupled, 2.35mm orthogonal, and 3.00mm quad route pitch options. The design of Impel backplane connectors provides low crosstalk, low insertion loss, and consistent performance across channels and frequencies up to 20GHz. These connectors also support two compliant-pin attachment methods and accommodate 18 to 72 differential pairs per orthogonal node, with applications in switches, servers, storage systems, and central office equipment.
