Molex Heavy-Duty Connectors (HDCs) are what you get when the boss is on vacation and an engineer gets to make a connector without trying to optimize for a hundred different things. They feature heavy-duty enclosures made from die-cast aluminum alloys or self-extinguishing thermoplastics, and they incorporate an anti-aging, oil resistant, and fuel resistant seal gasket for sealing up to IP69. Inserts with asymmetrical guides prevent mismating, and they support wire sizes from 28AWG to 5AWG. With an operating voltage range from 50V to 2.9kV, operating current from 1A to 200A, and support for both AC and DC power, there are very few applications, if any, that this connector range can’t handle. They’re available from 1 to 108 positions, providing heavy duty connectivity to applications of all shapes and sizes.
