Molex Micro-SIM Card Sockets are 6- or 8-circuit interconnects with profile heights of 1.35mm, 1.40mm, and 1.45mm, designed for use with micro-SIM cards. The features include anti-shorting insulation via raised housing walls, dual 90° metal shell bends for card polarization, and a spring tab to ensure a minimum contact normal force of 0.30N. These Micro-SIM Card sockets have a maximum operating voltage from 5Vdc to 15Vdc per series, a current rating of 0.5A per contact, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. These sockets are constructed with an LCP housing, copper alloy contacts with gold plating, and a stainless steel shell. Typical applications include mobile phones, tablet PCs, and GSM/UMTS modems.
