High-density D-Subs that Stand Up to Your Toughest Application

Designed for harsh environments, increased mating cycles and high-density connection requirements.

Molex High-density D-Sub connectors pack even more connectivity into a standard size D-Sub shell. With the same outer diameter size, with good shielding qualities, the tin plated shell encloses a higher number of contact chambers. These High-density D-Subs are excellent choices for:

  • Telecommunications
  • Data Transmission
  • Measurement, Regulation and Control Devices

High Density D-Sub

In terms of their outside dimensions, the shells of the high density D-Sub series are the same as for the well known D-Sub connectors.

High Density D-Sub Crimp

Due to the higher density of contacts, this series is highly suited for the most modern applications in data technology, telecommunications, systems for measurement and control.

High Density D-Sub Waterproof

Waterproof connectors available with different contact arrangements for front or rear mounting and as pin or socket connector.

Versatility Across a Full Range of Products

These connectors are available in straight and right angled versions for PCBs. They can also be supplied for cable assemblies in solder or crimp version. The heat resistant plastics used in the production of the connectors have a temperature range of -67 to 212 °F. The contacts are fully gold plated. The turned crimp contacts are available in standard and MIL version.

Available Machined Contacts

How valuable is your data? Molex High-density D-Subs even offer machined contact pins to deliver as much of the signal as is physically possible. These machined pins stand up to repeated mating cycles and are built to plug in again and again without compromising the integrity of the connection.

Available Waterproof Enclosures

No other D-Sub handles dusty, grimey, wet conditions like Molex. The available waterproof enclosure is IP67 rated against water intrusion and designed to maintain the connection in all but the very worst conditions. If the hurricane is bad enough to cause problems with the D-Sub, you'll have much bigger problems than this single connector.
