These devices use thermally protected varistor technology to prevent catastrophic failures and fire hazards, even under extreme conditions. The built-in thermal disconnect function enhances safety by isolating the device during end-of-life or sustained overvoltage events. The LSP05 features a maximum discharge current of 10kA (8/20 µs waveform) and supports a continuous voltage range of 150VAC to 510VAC. These devices meet IEC61643-11 Class II and IEEE C62.41.2 standards and offer IP66-rated protection. The LSP10 series offers a higher maximum discharge current of 20kA (8/20 µs waveform) and provides parallel or series connection options for additional flexibility. The LSP05 operates within a temperature range of -45°C to +85°C, with a storage range extending to +125°C while the LSP10 series have similar temperature ranges, with a maximum storage limit of +110°C.
