Littelfuse LX5 EV Triacs
Littelfuse LX5 Triacs operate as 0.5A bidirectional solid-state AC switches in SOT-23 surface-mount packages and support direct control from microprocessor drivers. These devices use glass-passivated junctions, provide high dv/dt capability, withstand repetitive blocking voltages, and maintain stable electrical parameters over time. The LX5 series triacs feature a minimum blocking voltage capability of 600V and a surge current capability of 9.5A. These thyristors come with an average gate power dissipation of 0.1W and a maximum DC gate trigger current of 5A. Typical applications include doorbell, door lock, electrovalve, thermostat, and AC solenoid drive.
