Littelfuse AUMOV Series Varistors
Littelfuse AUMOV Series Varistors offer 50% greater surge withstanding capability than existing technologies on the market for low DC voltage applications. The varistors feature maximum peak surge current rated up to 5kA (8/20μs pulse) to protect sensitive automotive systems from voltage transients induced by load dump and other transient events. These AEC-Q200 compliant series are available in 5mm, 7mm, 10mm, 14mm, and 20mm five-disc sizes. The AUMOV varistors operate from 14VAC to 42VAC and 16VDC to 50VDC voltage range. Typical applications include body electronics systems, powertrain systems, infotainment systems, and automotive control module protection.
