Littelfuse setP Temperature Indicators are designed to help protect USB Type-C plugs from overheating. These indicators feature a compact 0805 footprint and provide sensitive, reliable temperature indication. The SMD-compatible design ensures easy reflow soldering and zero IR loss contribution. The setP indicators are compliant with USB Power Delivery standards, capable of protecting systems with power ratings of 100W or higher. These devices are evaluated to UL 1434 and IEC 60730-1 Annex J standards. Applications include USB-C power adapters, Type-C plugs, fast chargers, and USB-C to USB-C cables.
