KEMET OHD Series Thermal Guards are designed to address thermal issues in electronic devices and provides protection through precise temperature sensing. These devices use a magnet and Thermorite, a temperature-sensitive soft ferromagnetic material that transitions to a paramagnetic state at its Curie temperature. The OHD series thermal sensors ensure reliable performance with high-speed response and long operational life. These thermal guards operate over a temperature range from +30°C to +130°C, with increments of 5°C, and supports signals from 0.1mW to 6W. The OHD series is ideal for monitoring overheating in power transistors, motors, and general appliances.
