KEMET T496 Series Fused Surface Mount Tantalum Capacitors include an internal fuse element designed to open in response to short-circuit or fault conditions. These capacitors support continuous currents up to 0.75A and fuse activation within 1 second at 4A or higher. The T496 series capacitors have a capacitance range of 0.15μF to 330μF and a voltage range from 4Vdc to 50Vdc. These capacitors operate within a temperature range from -55°C to +125°C and feature a moisture sensitivity level of 1 per J-STD-020.
