KEMET Floating Electrode (FE-CAP) X7R SMD MLCCs

KEMET Floating Electrode (FE-CAP) X7R Surface Mount (SMD) Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors (MLCCs) use an internal cascading electrode structure that forms multiple capacitors in series within a single unit. This design enhances voltage handling and reduces the risk of short circuits in case of mechanical damage. The FE-CAP capacitors offer stable performance across a wide temperature range from -55°C to +125°C with capacitance variation limited to ±15%. Both commercial and automotive-grade versions are available, with the latter meeting AEC-Q200 qualification.
