KEMET ArcShield X7R MLCCs
KEMET ArcShield X7R MLCCs are surface mount (SMD/SMT), high-voltage, commercial- and automotive-grade multilayer ceramic capacitors designed for applications that are susceptible to surface arcing (arc-over discharge). The ArcShield X7R MLCCs feature a capacitance range from 1,000pF to 560nF and an operating temperature range from −55°C to +125°C. These devices have a voltage rating of 500Vdc, 630Vdc, and 1KVdc and capacitance tolerances of ±5%, ±10%, and ±20%. Typical applications include analog and digital modems, DC/DC converters, HID lighting, LAN/WAN interface, and Voltage multiplier circuits.
