KEMET A700 Series Aluminum Organic Polymer Capacitors
KEMET A700 Series Aluminum Organic Polymer Capacitors (AO-CAPs) operate at steady voltages ranging from 2V to 35V without the need to de-rate. They have very low ESR and improved capacitance retention at high frequency, long operational lifetimes, and high operational temperatures. These small package size capacitors are suitable for handling high ripple currents. The A700 capacitors have a long life of up to 3,000 hours at 125°C and have a self-healing mechanism and a non-ignition failure mode. They are ideal for ASIC decoupling designs, FPGAs, and high-performance microprocessors. Common applications include DC/DC converters, displays, industrial, notebook PCs, and telecommunications applications.
