Introducing a robust pressure sensing solution from Honeywell. The new Micro Pressure sensor is the smallest ported pressure sensor on the market. The MPR series is a simple, low cost, piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor that provides a calibrated, temperature compensated digital output with an accuracy of ±0.25%. So instead of worrying about signal conditioning, conversion algorithms, and production line calibration, you can actually do your job. It’s smaller than any comparable offering, measuring just 5mm x 5mm, so now you can fit sensors where you couldn’t previously.
Despite it’s small size, MPR offers two stainless steel port sizes, or none at all, and multiple gel fill options, including medical and food grade, so you can use it with dry gas, moist gas, or liquid media. MPR is offered with pressure ranges up to ±30psi and, with its low cost and small size, can be used in precision liquid level sensing, filter pressure monitoring, and consumer grade medical devices.
