Honeywell SMART Position Sensors

Honeywell SMART Position Sensors (SPS) with a rotary configuration provide accurate, non-contact absolute position sensing across 0° to 360°. These sensors use Magnetoresistive (MR) technology and an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) to deliver repeatable output and reduce mechanical wear. The SPS series operates within a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and offers a maximum supply current rating of 90mA. These RoHS compliant position sensors support a supply voltage range from 12Vdc to 30Vdc. Typical applications include steering angle measurement, boom arm detection, solar panels, and wind turbines.
