Honeywell FSS-SMT Force Sensors are designed to deliver precise and reliable force sensing in a compact, commercial-grade package. These sensors feature SMT construction, low deflection, direct mechanical coupling, and ratiometric output. The FSS-SMT series force sensors offer force ranges from 0N to 5N, 10N, 15N, or 20N and operate within a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. These components utilize Honeywell’s advanced piezoresistive micromachined silicon sensing technology for precise force measurement. Typical applications include medical equipment, load and compression sensing, robotic end-effectors, variable tension control, and wire bonding equipment.
