Honeywell CSD and CSL Series Current Sensors
Honeywell CSD and CSL Series Current Sensors are available in digital/inductive, and open-loop configurations and are designed to measure Alternating Current (AC) or Direct Current (DC). These current sensors feature a rated current range from 0.5A to 500A. Ideally, Honeywell Current Sensors are used in welding machines, variable speed drives, ground fault detectors, robotics, power supplies robotics, telecommunication, and consumer tools.
The Digital/Inductive Current Sensors (CSD Series) offer a logic level output that changes from approximately Vcc to 0.4V when the sensed current exceeds the operating point. These current sensors will operate on AC or DC current, but the output will turn off at every zero crossing when sensing AC current.
The Open-loop Current Sensors (CSL Series) offer output voltage proportional to measured current without feedback control. These current sensors are often preferred in battery-powered circuits due to their compact size and lower power consumption.
