Glenair MIL-DTL-38999 Series Hermetic Seal Connectors
Glenair MIL-DTL-38999 Series I, II, III, and IV family of hermetic connectors are glass sealed, ideal for high-pressure/low-leakage applications in air, sea, and space environments. These hermetic connectors are on the Qualified Product List (QPL) for all configurations of MIL-DTL-38999 series I through IV pin and socket with no material breakdown or aging over time. The MIL-DTL-38999 hermetic connectors come with an insulation resistance of more than 5000MΩ at an ambient temperature. These hermetic seal connectors are specified for a wide range of applications, including submarines and orbiting satellites. The MIL-DTL-38999 connectors are also used to resist moisture ingress in underground installations and to withstand pressure differentials in vacuum chambers, laboratory equipment, and commercial and military aircraft.
