GIGAVAC 1500V HX Contactors

GIGAVAC 1500V HX Series Contactors are compact, hermetically sealed high-voltage DC contactors available in ceramic and epoxy versions. These contactors are UL508-approved for 1000V high-voltage switching and exceed the IP67 and IP69 sealing standards due to their hermetic design. The 1500V HX series contactors are well-suited for applications in inverter systems, battery packs, and combiner boxes used in solar or wind power systems.

HX Normally Open Contactors Ceramic:

• Designed to meet UL1604 for hazardous locations, class I and II, Div2, and class III
• High-efficiency dual DC coils:
  • Very low 12Vdc, 24Vdc, or 48Vdc continuous power coils with no EMI emissions or cross-talk on any system control power
• Small, compact contactor for switching 1000+Vdc

HX Normally Open Contactors Epoxy:

• Built-in coil suppression for all DC coils:
  • Saves engineering time and parts cost to add external coil suppression
• Designed to meet UL1604 for hazardous locations
• Hermetically sealed:
  • Exceeds IP67-69 specifications
• High-efficiency dual DC coils: 
  • Very low 12Vdc, 24Vdc, or 48Vdc continuous coil power with no EMI emissions or cross-talk on system control power. Ideal for battery-powered systems or where low power is needed
• Meets CE conformance standards
• Not position sensitive:
  • Can be mounted in any position for ease of installation
