EATON NRBG and NDBG Glass Coated NTC Thermistors
EATON NRBG and NDBG Series Glass Coated NTC Thermistors are efficient temperature sensors that meet the temperature sensing needs of a wide range of electronic applications. These thermistors come in different resistances, beta values, tolerances, and lead lengths. The glass-coated and encapsulated NTC thermistors offer long-term stability and reliability, as well as fast thermal responses. The NRBG and NDBG glass coated NTC thermistors are suited for temperature measurement in extreme temperatures of >250°C, corrosive atmospheres, or harsh environments. Typically using HVACR, IoT, and industrial process control applications.

I had a roommate that always had the AC on, even in the winter. He just couldn’t take the heat. Thankfully, EATON NRBG radial lead and NDBG axial lead glass-coated NTC thermistors can take the heat and the cold, for that matter, all while delivering a fast thermal response. NRBG operates from -40°C to +300°C with an approximately 0.8mW/°C dissipation coefficient and a thermal time constant of 8 seconds maximum. NDBG operates from -40°C to +250°C with an approximately 0.9mW/°C dissipation coefficient and a thermal time constant of 10 seconds maximum. Both series are offered with a wide range of beta values, beta types, and resistance values, with resistance and beta tolerances of ±1% or ±5%.
