EATON High Power TVS Diodes

EATON High Power TVS Diodes offer overvoltage protection, high peak current capability, low clamping voltage, and quick response times. These diodes utilize silicon avalanche technology and are available in radial, through-hole, and surface-mount footprints. The high-power TVS diodes protect against damaging transient surges, from ESD to lightning strikes. These high-power devices feature peak power dissipation on 10/1000µs waveforms and peak current on 8/20µs waveforms. The high-power TVS diodes are used in electronic applications to suppress voltage spikes and protect against ESD damage.

The EATON AK10E Series TVS Diode is a 10,000A device with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and has low slope resistance, very low clamping voltage, sharp breakdown voltage, and a glass passivated junction.
