Bourns PQ Series Shielded Power Inductors

Bourns PQ Series Shielded Power Inductors feature flat wire winding for low DC and AC resistance, providing high saturation currents exceeding 100A. These inductors minimize power dissipation, improving the efficiency of DC/DC converters. The series includes PQ2614BLA, PQ2614BHA, and PQ2617BHA models, each offering different inductance ranges and saturation currents. The inductors are AEC-Q200 qualified, RoHS compliant, and designed for automotive power conversion, DC/DC converters, and various other applications in consumer, medical, industrial, and communication electronics.

Don’t let your inductors be a bunch of losers. Of course, I’m talking about power losses. Bourns PQ Series inductors are built with low winding resistance flat wire and a low loss ferrite core that combine for extremely low DC and AC losses for saturation currents from a few amps to over 100A.

The PQ series is AEC-Q200 qualified and rated for operation up to 155°C, with a third solder tab under the body opposite the inductor contacts to improve mechanical stability. This means you can use PQ series inductors to boost efficiency in automotive power conversion applications and high current applications in consumer, industrial, medical, and telecom designs. The inductors have a 28mm by 28mm plastic base and are offered with inductance values from 1μH to 33μH.
