Bourns Riedon SSD Smart DC Current Sensors comprise highly integrated SiP devices for battery-related current sensing applications. These sensors integrate an automotive-grade 16-bit MCU, a 24-bit ADC, and onboard flash memory, enabling plug-and-play operation for current measurement, battery voltage monitoring, and coulomb counting. The SSD sensors offer a nominal current rating from ±100A to ±1000A and an ambient operating temperature range from -40°C to +115°C. Typical applications include large-scale energy storage systems, industrial motor drives, and EV charging stations.
