Bourns EN Series Rotary Optical Encoders

Bourns EN Series Rotary Optical Encoders convert rotary motion into a 2-bit quadrature signal suitable for digital systems. These encoders provide electrical signals that microprocessors can use without requiring A/D conversion. The EN optical encoders output consists of square wave digital pulses, eliminating the need for debounce circuitry and reducing wiring and memory overhead.
