The KYOCERA AVX 9176 are gas-tight wire-to-board insulation displacement connectors that are designed for use in harsh environments such as automotive equipment and support wires from 28AWG to 14AWG. The reduction in the Z-axis height by 1mm and reducing the volume by 50% have resulted in a much smaller package compared to previous versions, enabling engineers to pack in more capability for the same given area. At the same time, the voltage rating of these connectors is 100V, and the maximum current rating is 6A (which depends on the wire size used). With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, the KYOCERA AVX 9176 range of connectors are able to provide the most reliable performance in all environments.
