KYOCERA AVX SMD Aluminum Hybrid Electrolytic Capacitors use polymer technology in conjunction with a liquid electrolyte in a single design to combine the performance benefits of electrolytic and polymer capacitors. These capacitors are suitable for applications requiring low ESR, DCL, humidity resistance, and good stability over frequency and time. The SMD aluminum hybrid electrolytic capacitors come in AHA and AHC variants. These capacitors are ideally used in commercial/industrial power supply applications.

Sports drinks have long been lauded for their electrolytes, but did you know they also have polymers in them? I don’t know if any of them are really good for you, but I like the blue ones. I hope they’re like KYOCERA AVX AHA hybrid capacitors, which use polymers and a liquid electrolyte to produce a stable, long-life capacitor with low ESR. AHA series capacitors are available from 10µF to 560µF with ESR as low as 17mΩ.

Voltage ratings range from 16V to 125V, and the capacitors are rated for 5000 to 10,000 hours at their rated voltage and max operating temperature of 105°C, providing exceptionally long life in applications such as industrial equipment and base station equipment.
